Items 1-3: Postcrossing Postcards to Russia, Latvia & The US!
I happened to finish some school work early this morning and was feeling pretty energetic, so I decided that I had enough time to write up some Postcrossing cards and then take them to the mailbox while I waited for my bus to take me to school. I actually had a lot of fun picking out the cards I was going to use for each unique recipient. I decided to use one of my Brock University cards for a boy in Latvia because he seemed to really want to receive cards of the areas where senders are from.
On top of what I typically write on a post card, I also decided to include some Scratch & Sniff stickers on each of the cards. The green macaroon smells like vanilla, the lollipop smells like candy, and the square banana stickers smells like, you guessed it, banana!
Items In My Mailbox Today: 1 Item!
Item #1: Valentine from Fellow Iggle Jess!
Don't know why I didn't take a picture of the front, but basically it's a Polaroid note card. It's very similar to the ones I send out to people when I have a letter to send to them. I actually looked on the back of the card, and it's made from the same people who made the "pretty Polatoid Notes" box I have, along with the original "Polaroid Notes" box I sent to Diana for her birthday.
I picked up both boxes from Chapters book stores, since they have a bigger selection than the Coles store where I work. This card came from the collection known as "Polaroid Love Notes", and I might very well pick up a box for myself :) I'm beginning to run low on the pretty note cards anyway.
That's it for now! Simple mail day today. I'll keep you all posted.
