A Big Change

Look how pretty!

Yes, the time has finally come for me to update how things look around here. I have to say that I am very, very pleased with the final result. I'll probably continue to tweak a couple of things as I go, but I am now more or less satisfied with the general aesthetic of The Written Word(s), and I doubt there will be any need to re-vamp the graphics for a while now.

In case you're wondering about the new logo OR the cute badge showcased at the top-left corner there, this and one other logo were made for me by mathman1 of Fiverr.com. I also decided to put together some new buttons with these new logos so that I can really show off the new look. Take a look at the Buttons tab for a glance at those, and feel free to showcase one of those babies on your own site if you're in a sharing mood.

Also, as part of this big change, I've decided that I need to come out of my shell a little more and let you guys get to know me. I've finally completed an About Me page, which you can access above with the other pages as well.

I'm also hoping to come out of my shell as I continue to write posts here and figure out what The Written Word(s) really means by providing more personal content and expanding what this blog means outside of the realms of snail mail. I want to write more geek-related posts, more how-to posts, and overall I want to create posts that will better express to all of you my passion for language, literature and writing.
