Happy Tuesday everyone! Well truthfully it's Monday, but this week Canadians are just finishing up celebrating Thanksgiving, and I thought you all deserved an early treat as well. TWW(s): So Franny, as of this moment, what are your Top 5 Geek Loves?
Franny: 1) Harry Potter,
2) Unicorns
3) Doctor Who
4) Old School Nintendo Games
5) YA Fantasy/Science Fiction
TWW(s): If you could travel to any place, real or fictional, where would it be? A foreign country, the world of your favorite novel, sky's the limit!
Franny: Narnia - Definitely Narnia! I love all the characters and the magical world. I would love to be a part of it!
TWW(s): Tell us about any pen pals you've met through the IGGPPC :)
Franny: I have been through 3 rounds of "assigned" pen pals. I have one from Germany and 2 from the USA! I also have several others that I have met through swaps and #IGGPPC Twitter. I am especially fond of my IGGPPC pen pals I found through Twitter! We have really made a great connection.

TWW(s): When did you become an iggle and how did you hear about the IGGPPC?
Franny: I became an iggle in June - I signed up for my first round Round 14 - Spellbound and have been in love with it ever since!
How I learned about the IGGPPC: I was reading an article about letter writing on HelloGiggles.com (I love Zooey Deschanel). In one of the comments, someone had posted about pen pals through the IGGPPC. I was intrigued and Googled it right away! I signed up that very day!
TWW(s): That's an awesome story! I love Zooey Deschanel and HelloGiggles.com as well!
TWW(s): What does a typical day in your life look like? Where do you go? What do you do?
Franny: I wake up at 5:15 AM (I have my best ideas early in the morning!) I spend excessive amounts of time at work! (I work in a doctor's office.) I come home and spend time with my BFF Luna (She is a black little ball of puppy love!). I try to keep up with my iggles throughout the day - Most of my letter writing is done in the evenings! Then I go to bed and start all over again! (Boring right???)
TWW(s): Not boring at all! In fact I applaud you for being able to get up at 5:15 every morning XD
TWW(s): Reading any good books right now?
Franny: I am currently reading The Maze Runner series by James Dashner. I like to read the books before I see the movie!

TWW(s): When did you start to first self-identify as a geek?
Franny: When I was younger, I always believed in fairy tales and make believe a lot longer than the other kids. In junior high, I always identified myself more with Screech than Kelly, Lisa or Jessie (Saved by the Bell reference - I am old right?). I grew up in a REALLY small town so I didn't have many other people like me - Everyone else wanted to be in the "Popular" crowd! I just wanted to read and find my own crowd - even if they were fictional. It was in college that I embraced my geekiness when I FINALLY found a group of people who were just like me. It was the best of times!
TWW(s): If it makes you feel better, I totally got the Saved by the Bell reference :P
TWW(s): What did you study when you were in college?
Franny: I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Alas, I am not a teacher! I learned that I loved going to school and learning, but I was not very good at teaching others!
TWW(s): If you could describe yourself in . . . let's go with 5 words, what would they be? Why those words?
Franny: I am super extra awesome? Haha just kidding!
1) Excited - I get easily excited about every little thing and love to overuse exclamation points to show it!!!
2) Easy-Going - I believe that I am a "go with the flow" kinda girl. I don't like to stir up unnecessary trouble.
3) Bookish - I love books. I love reading books. I love buying books. I love the look and smell of books!
4) Imaginative - A good imagination is an important thing! I love make believe and creating new stories, ideas, etc.
5) Organized - I love organization - Storage boxes and bins make me happy. Lists and charts are my friend. Everything should have its own little place in the world!

TWW(s): Do you have a favorite moment/memory experienced as an iggle? Tell us about it!
Franny: It is actually a series of moments. The best moments for me are the little moments when someone sends you an unexpected note telling you that you are an awesome person. Or a little Tweet saying something made them think of you. I love the little moments of encouragement. That is one of my favorite things about the IGGPPC - everyone tries to lift you up and makes you feel like you matter!
TWW(s): What kinds of projects/swaps have you participated in with the IGGPPC?
Franny: Sticker Swap is my all time favorite - I have a sticker addiction problem. Mix CD Swap is fun too! I love hearing what everyone is listening to and broadening my musical background!
I have also done: Craft Supply Swap, Postcard Swap, Book Swap, Favorite Things Swap, Christmas in July Swap, Hometown Souvenir Swap, Camp Care Package Swap . . . I am a bit of a swap junkie!
While not an official IGGPPC project, several iggles and myself have created #PrincessPenPals. Basically, we create our own princess character and swap letters roleplaying as that princess. It has been super fun and interesting to see what everyone else can create.

TWW(s): Take a look at the new Iggle Manifesto and tell us your favorite line from it, or the line you'd like to most apply to yourself, and why.
Franny: My favorite line is "I will love everyone - Muggle or not!" Everyone needs a little love, a little encouragement, a little something to let them know that they are special. Iggles deserve to know that they are amazing, wonderful people. I want everyone to know that there is someone out there who believes in them. Iggles are beautiful inside and out, and the world needs to know!

In junior high, I identified more with Screech too, not that it was bad to want to be like Lisa, or Jessie, or Kelly! I loved this interview! It's so great to meet and learn about other geeks!
