What I'm Up To {16.04.2015}

I've seen a lot of different bloggers with their own version of these posts, so I thought it might be fun to try something like this every week! Thought it'd be a cool way to chat with you guys, let you know what I've been up to, and in turn you guys can chat with me in the comments about what sort of shenanigans that you've been up to as well! Make sure to let me know if you like seeing these types of posts from me :)

Reading: Decided to re-read Goodbye, Rebel Blue to remind myself of how much I loved it :) Now I'm re-reading The One to gear up for the next book in the Selection series.

Listening to: I've put on the soundtrack from the first episode of Life is Strange recently while I've been working on finishing school assignment or when I'm just relaxing at home. The music from that game is so amazing!

Playing: Lots of replaying of Life Is Strange of course XD This past Saturday I sat down with my friends to play a bunch of board games for International Tabletop Day, as well as to have a little goodbye party for me. All the friends I invited came, and it was an incredible night. Within two days I played Machi Koro, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Cards Against Humanity, Dead of Winter, and Power Grid.
*Trigger Warning: The following image is from our playing Cards Against Humanity and may be offensive to some people. NSFW, NSFC.*
Watching: I (finally) subscribed to ItsGrace! on YouTube, and have been watching a lot of her videos, plus I've tuned in to both episodes of The Grace Helbig Show on E! that have aired so far. I love it so much! I can't wait to see Jim Parsons on the show this Friday. Also my friend bought me Howl's Moving Castle on DVD & Blu-Ray, so I sat down and enjoyed that gem again on Tuesday night (Hi Eggo!).

Mailing: I have a letter to finish writing for my pen pal Shelby, a few paperback books to send to my friend Toni, and a few cards to send out for secret House Prefect business ;) Plus I have a #WashiTapeTag to participate in once I have a free minute.

Planning: There is so much going on with me right now XD I do have a cosplay I'm still in the early stages of planning, but more importantly I am finishing up my last school assignment as a student at Brock University, and I am 18 days away from my orientation day at Humber College. There's a ton that still needs to be done before then, like a massive clean-up of my bedroom XP Really not looking forward to that . . . also the launch of the Toronto chapter of Geek Girl Brunch is about a month away, and me and my fellow officers are constantly planning for that.
Writing: Aside from being back and active here on The Written Word(s), I'm rather behind on a few posts for +5 Charisma, and I've been trying to work on catching up there before I move to Toronto. I've also been writing a lot of roleplaying posts in my free time, and it's been a lot of fun, I've had a lot of muse this month :)

Feeling: Lately I've been getting more and more excited about what lies ahead with my Creative Book Publishing Program and with living away from home for the first time. So far no major panic or anxiety about it, which has been really great. I'm excited at the idea of graduating as well - my convocation (fancy Canadian word for university graduation) is June 13th, and I'll get to go home for it since it's on a weekend, which is awesome.

Loving: Now more than ever I have a definite love and appreciate for my friends. They've been so supportive of the big changes happening in my life that will take me physically farther from them, and I in turn have been thrilled at the idea of three of them moving in together around the same time I'll be moving to Toronto.
