Wednesday Wish Lists #26

Happy Wednesday, people! It's bee autumn for a while now, but as the weather actually starts to cool down, we're getting into that time of year where all we want is to curl up at home with a good book, maybe some video games, and that special someone to help fight off the winter chill. All of the items I'm adding to my wish list this week will go a long way in helping to create that ideal image as we move through autumn and get closer to winter.
#1: Happily Ever After: Companion to The Selection Series by Kiera Cass! You would think that anything related to The Selection series would be on my radar, and I would've picked up a copy as soon as it hit the shelves, but I didn't realize this was finally out until I visited the bookstore where I used to work with my friend, and she pointed it out to me. She is not a fan of the series, much to my displeasure, but she was at least nice enough to let me know that the companion was finally on the shelves. Unfortunately, being unemployed, I can't afford it just yet XP But it's got a place on my wish list in the meantime!
#2: Pieces for my Halloween Costume - A Black Heart from Muzzled the Musical! A while back now, I pitched in for the Kickstarter for an amazing-looking musical web series called Muzzled The Musical. A date for the release of this series hasn't been released yet, but they have released a preview and promised that the series is coming soon. They've also sent out the majority of their Kickstarter perks, and I received mine in the mail last Monday! I was able to chip in an extra $25 and I received not one, but two signed prints, one of Ashley Clements and one of my hero, Ashly Burch! I can't wait to frame them and put them up somewhere in my room :) Anyway, I also received a temporary Muzzle tattoo, which is the tattoo that Black Hearts have on their necks that punish them when they try to sing in a kingdom where singing is power. I thought it'd be fun to dress up as a Black Heart, since I'd have a cool-looking Muzzle as part of my costume, and I'll now just have to hit up the local thrift store to find the rest of the outfit. I'm looking for something similar to Mary Kate Wiles' outfit in the picture above, including the cool hair and eye make-up. I'll be sure to share some pictures of my costume if I manage to get it all together!
#3: For Rune Factory 5 to finally be made - and improved from Rune Factory 4! Recently a friend of mine reminded me of the amazingness of this game for the 3DS, which I spent the majority of this past September playing instead of doing anything productive XD This game is from the people who brought you the Harvest Moon games, and it's similar in a lot of ways. It's a farm simulator, but it also has a strong dungeon crawler mechanic, and its set in a mystical, medieval land where dragons exist and magic is plentiful. My friend recently completed the 2nd arc of the plot, which is what I spent September doing, and recently triggered the beginning of the 3rd arc. One thing that is annoying about this game is that you need certain "events" to trigger in order for anything interesting to happen in the game, whether it's to further the plot, enjoy any fun side stories, or to get married. It's incredibly frustrating, and we along with other Rune Factory 4 fans hope that there will be a much easier way to trigger events, ways that won't take days or seasons or years to trigger!
#4: More bath bombs from LUSH! With the cool autumn air seeping into our bones, it's a good time for a nice, warm bath to fight off the chill. I (and my mother, after I bought her a bath crumble for her birthday) have recently found out just how amazing a bath with a bath bomb can be, for the cool colours it can turn the water and for the amazing scents that they come with. Unfortunately, there isn't a LUSH anywhere around be, but they do have a website where you can order stuff! I have one bath bomb I picked up in Toronto that I'm still saving for a special occasion called Sakura, and it even has Pop Rocks inside of it! I can't wait to try it out, and to hopefully get some more bath bombs in the future.
#5: Kiss-Proof Lipstick that's actually Kiss-Proof! I've recently started seeing someone, and during a season where I love to where my favorite dark red MAC lipstick. Unfortunately, that lip stick isn't exactly kiss proof, so I haven't been able to where it when we've been out on dates. I'm hoping that I'll be able to pick up something soon that is actually kiss proof. What I would really like to get is some sort of kiss-proof clear coat that goes on over your favorite lipsticks. If anyone knows of something like that existing, or knows of any good kiss-proof lipstick tips, feel free to leave them in the comments below!

  1. I just got a sample of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick and I gotta say, that stuff does not move for anything. It's super matte and probably the longest lasting lipstick I have EVER tried.
