The Geeky Girl Tag

How's everybody doing today? I hope your week has been treating you well so far. Today I've decided to participate in a tag I learned about through the Female Geek Bloggers G+ group known as The Geeky Girl Tag! I learned about it from The Howling Wolfheart, and this tag was originally created by Zombie Goddess Beauty. Go check out their posts, as well as their respective blogs, which are both awesome :) Anywho, time for me to answer some geeky girl questions!

#1: What is your must-have tech gadget?
Like everybody else in 2017, my phone is somehow attached to me at all times. I rely on it for its amazing camera, for keeping in touch with my friends, family, and amazing boyfriend, and of course all the awesome games and apps and visual novels that I have. Let me tell you, when I dropped my phone earlier this month and the screen cracked, I went into full-on mourning, especially when I learned how much it would cost to replace it. Guess everyone experiences their first cracked phone screen at some point or another...

I'm also very reliant on my laptop, for my blog of course, and also for the recent Facebook games I've gotten a little addicted to XP And lately I've become re-attached to my 3DS, and I've actually been enjoying one of my favorite original DS games, Urbz: Sims in the City. Have any of you guys played this game for the DS or GameCube? Let me know in the comments below :)

#2: Which house do you belong to in Hogwarts?
Hufflepuff, through and through! I'll be honest, when I was first sorted by Pottermore, I was hoping to be sorted into Ravenclaw, but since then I've embraced yellow and black, and I am a very proud Hufflepuff.

#3: Who is your favorite Doctor?
I'd have to go with #11! I'll be honest, I haven't watched very much Doctor Who - barely any, to be completely honest. But I have seen more episodes with the Matt Smith as the Doctor, and I have developed a particular fondness for him.

#4: If you could have dinner with any fictional character, who would it be?
This question is so freaking hard, there are too many options! I mean, lots of characters from novels and manga come to mind, just so I could meet them in person: Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket, America and Maxon Schreave from The Selection series, Stargirl from Love, Stargirl.

#5: What is your gaming system of choice?
The very first console I ever received was a Nintendo GameCube - my brother had other consoles, but I was seldom allowed to play on them. Nowadays, my console of choice is my Xbox 360, although I've been playing a lot more games on my PC lately; I used to royally suck at PC games but I've been getting a lot better with practice. And of course there's my 3DS 😊

#6: If you had a super power, what would it be?
I thought a lot about this one, and I think I would go with being able to fly. Not only could I travel across the world, but I could work on ridding myself of my fear of heights. If I built up my upper body strength, I could also fly people around with me, either for fun or to terrify them 😈

#7: What is your favorite fantasy world?
The very first thing that popped into my head when I read this question was the world created by Mary Pope Osborne in her children's book series The Magic Tree House. From what I remember this tree house appears out of nowhere, and there are a ton of books inside about different times and places in history. Open up a book, and you can go there! That way I wouldn't have to limit myself to just one fantasy location!

#8: If you could be any fictional race, what would you be?
I think I would love to be an adorable little Ewok. OR I would like to have one as a pet! Either of those would work for me XD

#9: Star Trek or Star Wars?
Star Wars, 100%! I never grew up with Star Trek as a part of my life, and I may have seen a single episode from one of the series, but Star Wars is something I've gotten into over the past few years, from my boyfriend showing me the original trilogy, to seeing The Force Awakens in theaters, to now being addicted to the collectible card game Star Wars: Destiny.

**Bonus* On March 31st, the series Thirteen Reasons Why comes to Netflix. And in late August, Netflix is releasing an American version of Death Note. I am SO excited for both!!!!! 😝
