Let's be real: If I'm ever procrastinating in any way, the thing that I'm actually doing is playing some sort of video game 😋 Games are a huge passion of mine, and I would 100% identify myself as a gamer - even if I'm not a very good one most of the time, and am more of a self-proclaimed gaming enthusiast. This tag created by ZombieGoddessBeauty is right up my alley, so without further ado, here are my answers to the whopping 20 questions in the Gamer Tag!
#1: What is your Gamer Tag? On Steam I simply go by Kcrules48, but that's my username on a whole bunch of web platforms. On my Xbox360, I let it randomise a gamer tag for me, and it generated one I love, which is MotorDaffodil63. Now that I think about it, I should probably change it to MotorDaffodil64 to sound even more awesome, so I'll probably end up doing that sometime soon 😝
#2: PC or Console? Honestly, I play on both. I used to not play as many PC games simply because I sucked at playing games using a keyboard, but I've started to get a little better, plus there are a few PC games that I plug in my boyfriend's USB controller to play with to make things a little easier for myself.
#3: Console of Choice? The main console that I own and use right now is my Xbox 360, although I occasionally play on my boyfriend's PS4 as well.
#4: Handheld of choice? (DS, PS Vita, etc.) Definitely my 3DS. I've gotten into playing it a lot more lately, and have even broken out some of my old DS games. I've been trying to hunt down my copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, but it is still MIA amidst all of the boxes from when we moved. Knowing my luck, it's stuck somewhere in the storage unit 😌
#5: Keyboard or Game Pad? I play a lot better using a controller, although I don't use it for every game - mainly because a lot of games won't work with a controller XD But I'm fine using my keyboard for games like The Sims 4, World of Warcraft and Stardew Valley, among others.
#6: Single Player or Multiplayer? The majority of what I play is single player, although I do play a few MMO games. Plus I occasionally play games with my friend Blair or my boyfriend.
#7: What was the first game you ever played? More than likely, it was this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game, which was either for the NES or the SNES, I can't really remember. The first game I ever really got invested in was Banjo Kazooie.
#8: Hardest game you have ever played? There are plenty of games that I have difficulty with, but the one I probably had the hardest time with, to my dismay, was Watch_Dogs. I wanted so badly to be decent at it, because the overall concept of the game is so awesome, but I couldn't get far into the initial missions before I just sucked so much that I couldn't continue playing. I'm also not very good at Assassins Creed: Black Flag because I am unable to drive the damn pirate ship XP
#9: What was your first gaming system? The first gaming console I ever owned was the Nintendo Game Cube. The first I ever played on was probably one of my brother's systems, either the NES, the N64, or the PS1.
#10: What is your favourite game of all time? That's such a hard question, I really don't know what my favourite game is XP I probably spent most of my time playing The Sims 4, because it's really easy to just wile away the hours on there XD

#11: What game is currently your favourite? I've been playing a lot of FreeSO (The Sims Online) lately, and I also recently downloaded all of my Sims 3 expansions to my new laptop to reminisce a little. I also reinstated my World of Warcraft subscription and have enjoyed the new updates thus far :)
#12: Favourite video game genre? I do enjoy sandbox games in general. I guess most of the games that I like to play are open world, simulation games, but I also enjoy story-driven games as well, such as pretty much anything created by TellTale.
#13: Favourite video game character? Even though I haven't gotten far enough in Borderlands 2 to have actually met her, I would still have to say Tiny Tina. She's freaking hilarious, not to mention she is voiced (and partly inspired) by one of my favourite internet personalities Ashly Burch. Another character that I adore, and have also cosplayed as (and who is also coincidentally voiced by Ashly Burch) is Chloe Price from Life is Strange.
#14: Which video game character do you hate most? This is a hard one... Even slightly annoying video game characters like Clap Trap and Navi have their own alluring charm. If I had to pick a video game character to hate, it would have to be Josh Birk from Saints Row the Third, even though it's pretty funny to watch any sort of exchange between him and Shaundi 😝
#15: What new game are you most excited for? I really can't wait until Oxygen Not Included is released to a beta platform, so that Blair and I can both try it out. It's currently available as an alpha, and I could pay $21CAD to gain access to it, but I'll probably wait until the beta version is ready. Also I really want to get my hands on a Nintendo Switch so that I can try out Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It looks so good!!!
#16: Favourite video game company/developer? I grew up playing Nintendo games, and Nintendo will always have a special place in my heart. There's also EA who have created all of the Sims games. But if I had to pick a favourite, it would probably be TellTale, because it's their games that I'm the most passionate about. I also love Klei entertainment, who created Don't Starve and Oxygen Not Included.
#17: What gaming systems do you currently have? I own an XBOX 360, my 3DS, and of course my PC. I play on my laptop but I do have a gaming desktop that is currently packed away. And though I don't own it, I have constant access to my boyfriend's PS4.
#18: How long have you been gaming? Since I was a little kid for sure. I remember being younger and loving video games, but a lot of FPS games scared me, so I rented a whole bunch of Rugrats games from Blockbuster XD
#19: How long was your longest gaming session? The first one that comes to mind is one time that Blair and I were at my place and we were playing Borderlands 2 together (I am completely hopeless at that game unless I'm playing co-op, and even then I still suck). At some point I looked at the clock on my cell phone and went, "Dude... did you know it's 4AM?" I can't remember exactly when we started, but we were so in the zone that the time just flew by.
#20: What game have you clocked the most time on? As of the day of this post, I have spent a grand total of 1,728 hours playing The Sims 4.
