Currently... 30/04/18 - 05/05/18

What's up, internet? I decided that to continue to keep you guys updated about what's been going on with me over the past while that I would share a few of my Currently's from this past week. There's been a few new ones lately that I'm eager to share with you guys, so let's get started!

So I recently had a pretty fun idea for a couple of videos to create for my YouTube channel. As anyone who has been following this blog over the years will know, I am a snail mail enthusiast and I love sending things in the mail to people. And on that note, I know of a couple other YouTubers that I am a major fan of that have PO boxes, and so I thought it might be fun to film myself putting together a care package for a few of my fav content creators 💕

I already have two creators in mind that I'd love to send care packages to, the first of which is Hazel from Hazelnuttygames, who creates World of Warcraft videos & live streams. I recently decided to support her on Patreon and I adore her - tbh I kinda wish I was her 💜 The other content creator I'd like to send a package to is Misha from Mishacrossing. When I was hardcore playing Animal Crossing: New Leaf a LOT near the end of 2017, I was always watching her videos and live-streams and she's such a happy, positive person and I adore watching her videos. I recently became a patron of hers as well because I love the content she creates.

On Tuesday the 1st, when I was just about to settle in for a day of gaming at my computer, I pulled up Netflix to find something to have playing in the background, and whose face should greet me at the top of the Netflix feed but that of one of my favorite stand-up comedians, John Mulaney! My boyfriend and I had the opportunity to see him perform live in Toronto this past Fall and we had an absolute blast. This newest Netflix special is mostly made up of what we were able to watch him perform, but I still laughed my ass off the entire time I was watching XD And since then I have already viewed the special multiple times 😋

Also, this week I sat down and decided to focus on blogging because I needed a day of positivity, and writing posts for either of my blogs always makes me feel happy :) While I was doing this, I didn't feel like putting on Friends or some other show on in the background (and I'd already watched John Mulaney too many times XD) so I decided that it would b a good day to watch The Lizzie Bennet Diaries from the very beginning - including all of the side videos made by Lydia, Maria, and Gigi. A few years back I actually created a complete playlist, in the order that the videos were released, so click here if you'd like to check that out.

Well, I'm not really reading anything... yet. I've been anxiously awaiting the release of the new B. T. Gottfred book, The Handsome Girl & Her Beautiful Boy - since I listened to The Nerdy & The Dirty as an audiobook I'd like to get this title with my free monthly credit, assuming it'll be available on Audible. If not I may need 2 run to my bookstore and grab a copy as soon as it's released because I've been anxiously waiting for this book for a LONG time now.

Lots and lots and LOTS of gaming has been happening in my life lately. It's basically how I spend the majority of my time. One game I've been loving these past couple months has been World of Warcraft. I am eagerly awaiting for the new expansion, which will be released 5 days before my birthday 🍰 I recently joined a guild, and we've been raiding every Tuesday and Thursday night, which has been really fun. My guild is a really fun group, and since I've never really played WoW with other people before I have a steeeeeap learning curve to climb, but I've really enjoyed being part of a strange yet loveable community.

Also, when I found out that the Stardew Valley multiplayer update had been released, I immediately needed to go check it out! I have spent many, MANY hours playing Stardew on my own, and I'm thinking I'd really like to start playing with my friend Morgan on our own farm. I of course have been playing Sims 4 as well but not so much lately since Stardew's multiplayer update has been playable.

On Thursday May 10th, my boyfriend and I are planning to travel up to Toronto, and the main reason for our visit is that I really want to see the cherry blossom trees blooming in High Park. It's one of the top items on my 2018 bucket list and I've been so excited to go to High Park while the trees are in full bloom. I've even been following SakuraWatch on Twitter to get constant updates on when the trees would be scheduled to bloom. We're going on Thursday the 10th because Kurt has Thursdays off - unfortunately they're predicting a little rain on Thursday. I'm hoping the trees will still be blooming by the time we manage to get to the park.

As for what else we'll be doing in Toronto, I haven't fully decided yet. If the rain really picks up we may go and see a movie at the VIP movie theater, because that's another item on my bucket list. We might also go and hang out at Snakes and Lattes because that's always a favorite of ours. There's also this geeky bakery in TO that I recently found out about and I really wanna go there just to buy some birthday cake cookies :P And maybe I'll b lucky enough to get to visit one of my fav stationary shops on the same street as Snakes and Lattes. I'm actually planning on vlogging the whole day, and I will definitely b posting the finished video here on the blog for you guys to see 🌸

Pretty sure those are all the big things that are currently going on in my life at the moment - as you can see I am the most excited for this upcoming Toronto trip, and I will definitely be updating you guys with pictures & hopefully a video as soon as I can! Promise to keep you posted!
